A Proven Track Record of Innovation

When my VP of News at NBC Connecticut moved to NBC Boston, he invited me to join him in Beantown. I was thrilled at the prospect of helping to launch a new station in a top-10 market, and I quickly jumped at the opportunity.

As the Executive Producer of Investigations & Enterprise, I was responsible for overseeing a team of 16 journalists covering the investigative, consumer, medical, and feature beats. Our team's work covered a wide range of topics, from in-depth investigations into corruption and fraud to engaging feature stories that highlighted the unique aspects of Boston's culture and history.

During my time at NBC Boston, I had the chance to co-create a new political show called "Talk Politics," which provided a platform for local leaders, policymakers, and analysts to discuss important issues facing the region. I also developed a prototype of an innovative news program aimed at people who typically don't consume news, with the goal of making news more accessible and engaging for a broader audience.

In addition to my work at NBC Boston, I wrote a book about innovation in the news business, drawing on my years of experience in the industry to provide insights and practical advice to those looking to make a difference in the rapidly-evolving field of journalism.

Through my work at NBC Boston, I had the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a new community, and to help shape the direction of a new station in a top media market. I am proud of what our team accomplished during my time there, and remain grateful for the chance to have played a role in such an exciting and dynamic time in the world of news and media.
