Dedicated To Making A Difference
I have been motivated to make a difference in the world from a young age. Although my early aspirations of becoming a firefighter did not come to fruition (I didn't quite fit in the helmet), I have found plenty of other ways to live a purpose-driven life.
While I've worked with companies big and small, I've found great satisfaction in helping non-profit organizations achieve their communication, marketing, and development objectives. Through my extensive expertise in communications, storytelling, content creation, and marketing, I have helped these organizations to promote their missions and engage with their communities in meaningful ways.
Another way I have sought to make an impact is by disseminating life-saving health information using my skills in journalism, storytelling, and science. By creating engaging and informative content, I've helped educate people about important health issues and empowered them to make informed decisions about their health, well-being, and safety.
But the most impactful way I have pursued my goal of making a difference is through my work as an investigative journalist, and Director of Storytelling and Managing Editor for the national media network NBCLX. In this role, I have had the opportunity to confront the existential threats facing our communities, country, and planet and shine a light on issues that significantly impact us all.
Through this work, I have demonstrated the power of storytelling to effect change and how journalism can be used as a force for good in the world. By telling the stories of those on the front lines of critical issues, I have helped inspire action and raise awareness of important causes.
No matter what I do, it's shaped by my deep desire to make a meaningful impact in the world. I remain committed to using my skills and expertise to effect positive change in the world.
