Understanding The Uniqueness Of Nonprofits

During my time as the Director of Marketing and Communications for the Exceptional Children's Foundation (ECF), I was responsible for revitalizing the nonprofit's communications and marketing materials, tactics and strategies. In order to achieve this, I not only created new collateral materials, but revamped the organization's existing tools including their website, communications and marketing plan, and support resources. I also used my photography and content production skills to create a visually engaging narratives that showcased how ECF supports children and adults with developmental disabilities.

Through my work, I sought to communicate the unique mission and impact of the organization to a broader audience. This included using multimedia storytelling to highlight the stories of ECF's clients, bringing their experiences to life in a way that resonated with the organization’s stakeholders.

The success of these efforts was reflected in the response from the community and the media. The updated collateral materials and multimedia stories received positive feedback and helped to generate more awareness and support for ECF's vital work. I am grateful for the opportunity to have contributed to the organization's success and to have helped to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those it serves.
